At the east end of Lake Ontario, Kingston is a thriving university/college
town (see Queen's University, Royal Military College, and St.
Lawrence College) and popular
tourist destination due to it's many historical, culinary, and nautical
attractions. Kingston's summer thermal winds draw the gamut of wind-addicts
to it's many international cultural festivals, in addition to the largest
annual in-land
regatta in North America. The popularity of kiteboarding in Kingston
has increased dramatically in the past 2 years, thanks in part to our main
launch being located right in front of 1000s of Queen's University students'
dorm room windows.
